What’s more drama-filled than a drag queen on a stage gasping for attention? How about a dozen of them competing to become America’s next drag superstar? Hang on to your handbags, it’s time for season two of RuPaul’s Drag Race.
 

Led by its toweringly glam namesake, RuPaul (channeling both Tim Gunn and Tyra Banks), the show that put Logo on the map last year returns on Monday, February 1 at 9 PM. The new season has more contestants (12 in all), tougher challenges ("See those curtains? Now make a dress out of ‘em.") and even better celebrity guest judges (Kathy Griffin shows up for the premiere; then comes Dita Von Teese, Debbie Reynolds, Cloris Leachman and Henry Rollins, for starters).
 

With queens sporting names like Jujubee, Pandora Boxx, Mystique and Shangela you can be assured a wild ride. There will be lots of dancing, singing, posing, hair-pulling and "lip-synching for their lives" as they battle to take home the crown. We’ll also get to know the boys behind the queens, all eager starlets yearning to be discovered...and willing to cut any diva who gets in her way.
